Thats for sure! and, Timothy DeChenne, since we don’t yet know how it all works, would you at least consider, in the meanwhile, an idea which makes use of quantized space and its consequences to explain the “hard problem” of which you speak? You can both read a short (but unfortunately dense) summary of it under my name in Medium—the piece about consciousness. I welcome your thoughts of course, and especially you, Richard, whom I thank for your excellent comment.

Whichever pathway eventually prevails with a truly satisfying description for consciousness, they will find me, for one, in congratulations of their achievement and enthusiastically in support of their theory.
